In the 1988 American action-comedy-parody film ‘I’m Gonna Git You Sucka,’ Marlon Wayans, who had previously made his film debut as a teenager with a small role as a pedestrian, appeared alongside his brother Keenen Ivory Wayans, who played the leading role. Marlon also had a recurring role in Keenen’s American sketch comedy television series ‘In Living Color.’
After his appearance on the TV series ‘The Best as Robert Townsend & His Partners in Crime’ in 1991, Marlon landed his first leading role as the conman Seymour Stewart in the American crime-comedy film ‘Mo’ Money’ on July 24, 1992.
Marlon was initially considered for the role of Robin in the 1992 American superhero film ‘Batman Returns,’ directed by Tim Burton. However, the character of Robin was ultimately left out.
