Anand Singh Bisht, born in 1931, is an Indian citizen and retired forest ranger from Panchur, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, India. He is widely recognized in India as the father of Yogi Adityanath. Yogi Adityanath, whose birth name is Ajay Mohan Bisht, is a prominent political figure in India and the current Chief Minister (CM) of Uttar Pradesh. Yogi Adityanath has been serving as the Chief Minister since March 19, 2017, after being appointed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which is the ruling political party in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
