Martyn started exercising when he was 11 years old because he always liked fitness training. He dreamed of playing for the English national team one day, so he chose to play cricket. However, he had to stop playing cricket due to an injury when he was 19 years old.
It took him almost a year to recover from the injury, but by then, it was too late for him to return to the field. During this time, he fell into a deep depression. However, rebuilding his body and gaining control over it gave him a sense of achievement and helped him recover from his depression.
